Chai premix is a pre-blended, all-in-one instant tea powder that combines tea leaves, sugar (or jaggery), and spices in precise ratios. To prepare chai, you simply add one measured packet to boiling milk and water – no separate ingredient management needed. Desi Premix chai premix is specifically developed for commercial food businesses: cafes, restaurants, hotels, cloud kitchens, and corporate canteens.
What flavours does Desi Premix offer?

What is the shelf life of Desi Premix products?
All Desi Premix chai premix variants have a shelf life of up to 9 months when stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. Each pack is sealed to preserve freshness and flavour.
Are your products FSSAI compliant?
Yes. All Desi Premix products are manufactured in compliance with Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) regulations. Our products are formulated for commercial food service use and meet applicable food safety standards for instant beverage premixes in India.
Do your products contain artificial preservatives or flavours?
No. Desi Premix chai premixes are made with real ingredients – actual jaggery, CTC tea leaves, whole spice extracts, and sugar. We do not use artificial preservatives, synthetic flavour enhancers, or fillers. The product is designed to replicate the taste of freshly brewed traditional Indian chai at commercial scale.
Ordering & Pricing
What is the minimum order quantity?
For trial packs, there is no minimum order quantity – you can order a single trial pack to test the product. For bulk boxes, the minimum order is 1 box (12 kg). For orders of 3 or more bulk boxes, contact us for volume pricing and scheduled delivery arrangements.
What is the difference between trial packs and bulk packs?
Trial packs contain 3–5 individual serving packets (200g each) and are designed for businesses testing the product before committing to bulk. They come with free pan-India delivery. Bulk boxes contain 12 kg of premix (typically 75 packets × 160g) and are priced for commercial use at ₹345–365/kg depending on the variant. Bulk orders have a ₹600 delivery charge.
How much does Desi Premix chai premix cost per cup?
At bulk pricing (₹345–365/kg), the effective cost per cup is approximately ₹3.50–4.50 per cup based on a yield of 12–15 cups per 160g packet. For cafes charging ₹25–50 per cup of chai, this provides a strong gross margin while maintaining premium product quality.

Do you ship across India?
Yes. Desi Premix ships pan-India. Free delivery is available on all trial pack orders. For bulk box orders, a flat delivery charge of ₹600 per box applies. For businesses in Maharashtra, we offer faster delivery timelines given our base in Vashi, Navi Mumbai.
How long does delivery take?
Trial packs are delivered within 3–5 business days across most of India. Bulk orders typically take 4–7 business days depending on your location. We ship via reputed logistics partners to ensure safe, undamaged delivery of all products.

How many cups does one bulk pack yield?
One 160g packet yields approximately 12–15 cups of chai when prepared with 1.2 litres of milk and 400 ml of water. A full 12 kg bulk box (75 packets) yields approximately 900–1,125 cups. For an average cafe serving 40–60 cups of chai per day, one bulk box covers 15–28 days of uninterrupted service.
Do I need any special equipment to use Desi Premix?
No. Desi Premix requires only a standard stovetop or commercial boiler. There is no machine dependency. Your existing tea-making equipment works perfectly. This makes it ideal for cafes of all sizes – from small tea stalls to large hotel kitchen operations.
